In preparation for a presentation, I once tweeted: "Tell me what makes a presentation boring!" to which @Mitch_Willis replied: "PowerPoint presentations! As soon as I see PowerPoint, my eyes start to bleed from boredom." But if brain scientists tell us that vision is the best tool we have for learning, can we afford to ignore PowerPoint as a tool for trainers?

In this session you will learn ways to get more POWER from PowerPoint. You'll learn what doesn't work with PowerPoint and why. You'll also learn best practices in using PowerPoint that will engage your audience and make your content more memorable. Don't do PowerPoint like everyone else. Learn to turn PowerPoint into a powerful tool that can work for you!

Presenter: Kelly Vandever, COMMUNICATIONS for everyone
